2004-05: Placed fifth in the 100 Breast (57.51), eighth in the 100 Fly (51.73), and 10th in 200 IM (1:56.21) at the NIC Championship...his time in the 200 IM is his career best, while posting another personal best during the prelims of the 100 Fly (51.16)...also posted the second fastest on the squad in the 100 Breast (57.51)...earned third letter.

2003-04: Fourth best time on the UH squad in the 100 Breast (57.34) and sixth best in the 200 Breast (2:14.94)...Placed 10th in the 100 Breast (57.34) at the NIC Championships...earned second letter.

2002-03: Finished with the ninth best time in the 200 Breast (2:14.35) at the Big West Shootout...posted the third fastest time on the UH team in the 100 Breast (59.42) at the NIC Championships...earned first letter.

Prep: A 2002 graduate of Paradise Valley High School in Phoenix...lettered four times in swimming...honored with Newcomer-of-the-Year award in 1998...named All-District for the 100 Breast in 2001 and 2002; the 50 Free in 2002; and the 500 Free in 1998...was named captain and MVP in 2002...was the 5A state champion in the 50 Free...swam for Bob Gillette at Arizona Desert Fox.

Personal: Born March 25, 1984, in Phoenix...favorites include Mike Myers, Johnny Depp and Russel Crowe, watching wrestling on TV and the musical group NOFX...has two younger brothers, Jared and Kenneth...parents are Dave and Terri Abrams of Phoenix.
