HONOLULU – The No. 16 University of Hawai'i beach volleyball team will play its final regular-season home matches of 2026 when it takes on a trio of opponents this weekend. The Rainbow Wahine will face Oregon at Queen's Beach on Friday, April 10, before hosting Senior Weekend at Clarence T.C Ching Complex, April 11-12, against Chaminade, Santa Clara and the Ducks. The matches are open to fans with free admission.
UH's final match of the weekend on Sunday, April 12 at 5:30 p.m. versus Oregon will be broadcast live on Spectrum Sports. Following that match a total of 10 student-athletes – Sydney Amiatu, Sarah Burton, Emily Heintzelman, Julia Lawrenz, Caprice Lorenzo, Jesse Mann, Tessa Marocco, Sydney Miller, Kristen Serrano and Emily Uhrinak will be honored as part of Senior Night festivities.
UH (13-12) is back home for the first time in more than a month after playing its last 14 dual matches on the mainland. The BeachBows went 7-7 during that stretch, while playing a half dozen nationally-ranked opponents during that stretch. UH most recently competed in the Wildcat Spring Challenge in Tucson, capping the tournament with a win over host Arizona.
Following Senior Weekend, the BeachBows will head back on the road for the Big West Championship, April 23-24 in San Luis Obispo, Calif.

Kiera Cornman and
Emily Heintzelman hold the best win percentage of any UH pair going 11-3 (.786) while playing at the No. 2, 3, 4 and 5 slots...UH pairs are a combined 21-27 in matches that go to three sets...Lawrenz and Stedile are 6-5 in three-set matches, while Cornman and Heintzelman are 4-2...UH has blanked four opponents, while the 'Bows have been shutout 5-0 just once this year – versus then No. 5 Texas in the East Meets West Invitational on March 13.
All-Time Series Records: The BeachBows are 3-0 all-time against Oregon…UH beat the Ducks in the 2021 and '22 editions of the Husky Invitational in Seattle as well as the 2023 Heineken Queen's Cup in Honolulu…UH is 3-0 all-time against Chaminade…that includes a 5-0 victory earlier this season in the Heineken Queen's Cup on March 5….the 'Bows have also won all three previous meetings with Santa Clara…this will be the first meeting between the programs since 2015…it will also be the first-ever meeting in Honolulu.
All-Time At Ching Complex: The Rainbow Wahine hold a stellar 36-14 (.720) record at the Ching Complex since starting play there in 2015…UH had won 10 straight matches at Ching between the 2023 and '24 season, before dropping all four of is matches last year to No. 10 Cal and No. 13 Grand Canyon.
Versus Unranked Squads: UH is 171-7 (.961) all-time vs unranked squads....that mark includes a 75-2 record in Honolulu and an unblemished 24-0 mark at Ching Complex…UH is 12-2 versus unranked squads this year.
BeachBow Seniors: A total of 10 Rainbow Wahine will be making their final regular-season home appearances this weekend.
Sydney Amiatu (Oceanside, Calif.)...in her fourth year with the program…a first-team all-Big West selection as a sophomore...starter on the 2024 squad that won the Big West and advanced to the NCAAs...will graduate with a degree in political science.
Sarah Burton (Perth, Australia)...a four-year BeachBow…competed at the No. 5 flight in back-to-back NCAA Tournaments...an all-Big West second team selection as a junior in 2025...will earn her undergraduate degree in psychology.
Emily Heintzelman (Sydney, Australia)...a graduate transfer from Tulane…has made an immediate impact competing in 22 of UH's 25 matches this year and notching 16 wins, tied for the third most on the team...pursuing a master's degree from UH in health policy & management.
Julia Lawrenz (Curitiba, Brazil)...in her third season at UH....has been in the starting lineup all three years, including at the top of the order the majority of this season...2025 all-Big West honorable mention...will graduate from UH with a degree in food science and human nutrition.
Caprice Lorenzo (Mesa, Ariz.)...in her fourth season at UH....was a second-team all-Big West pick last year with partner Sarah Burton...a key component in UH capturing the 2024 Big West title...will graduate from UH with a degree in finance.
Jesse Mann (Sydney, Australia)...in her fourth season at UH....enjoyed her best season as a junior in 2025...played in 31 matches and notched wins over six ranked opponents, including an upset of No. 1 USC in the season opener...will earn a UH degree in mechanical engineering.
Tessa Marocco (Santa Ana, Calif.)...transferred from Irvine Valley College two years ago....has played primarily at the No. 6 court in her two seasons as a BeachBow...will graduate from UH with a degree in communications.
Sydney Miller (San Diego, Calif.)...four-year starter....has played in 120 career matches (70 wins), the most in the senior class...two-time all-Big West honorable mention and played in two NCAA Tournaments...will graduate from UH with a degree in fashion design & merchandising.
Kristen Serrano (Mangilao, Guam)...three years at UH after transferring from the University of Guam...along with Kiera Cornman, picked up the clinching point in UH's 3-2 upset of top-ranked UCLA in the 2026 season opener...will graduate from UH with a degree in business.
Emily Uhrinak (Redondo Beach, Calif.)...a graduate transfer from UC Davis...has seen action at the No. 6 court...pursuing her master's at UH in urban & regional planning.
