2026 Football Schedule Announced

HONOLULU – The full 2026 University of Hawai'i football schedule has been revealed following the Mountain West's announcement of conference dates. UH will play a 12-game schedule featuring six home games and six road games.

After opening in Week 0 on the road at Stanford, the Rainbow Warriors will play their home opener the following week against UNLV to begin Mountain West play on Sept. 5 at the Clarence T.C. Ching Complex. The Rebels finished as co-regular season champions last season.

Following the UNLV game, UH will host a non-conference matchup against New Mexico State on Sept. 12 and will have a bye week before resuming MW play at Wyoming on Sept. 26 in Laramie. Hawai'i will alternate home and away games for the next four weeks, beginning with a home game against San José State on Oct. 3, followed by a road non-conference game at Arizona State on Oct. 10 in Tempe, Ariz.

UH will then host co-regular season champion New Mexico on Oct. 17 before playing the MW's three new members in succession – Oct. 24 at Northern Illinois, Nov. 7 at UTEP, and Nov. 14 vs. North Dakota State. The game at NIU will mark UH's first-ever appearance in DeKalb, Ill., while the game against NDSU will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools.

Hawai'i will close out the schedule with a road game at Nevada on Nov. 21 in Reno, Nev., and a home game against Sacramento State on Nov. 28.

The date for the Mountain West Championship Game has not yet been decided.
