HONOLULU — The University of Hawaiʻi women's volleyball team wrapped up its "Our Team, Hawaiʻi's Team" spring series with a straight-set loss to Louisville on Monday at Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center. Set scores were 25-18, 25-17, and 25-15.

UH hit .111 for the match compared to .287 for the Cardinals, who won the series opener on Monday in four sets. Louisville, which reached the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16 last season, was led by Payton Petersen, who had 11 kills and 10 digs. Ava Utterback added nine kills and seven digs.
The Cardinals jumped out early on the Rainbow Wahine in Set 1 and hit for an efficient .424 with only one attack error in 33 attempts for a 25-18 victory. Four different Cardinals tallied three kills each, while Reid led UH with five kills.
Louisville used a 5-0 run early to take command of Set 2. Midway through the set, the Cardinals led by double digits after a 6-1 run made it 16-6. The closest UH got within was five at 22-17 before Louisville closed out the set with back-to-back kills by Utterback.
The teams played even for the first half of Set 3 until the Cardinals erupted for a 9-1 run, which included six straight points for a 22-13 lead.
