HONOLULU — The University of Hawai'i women's volleyball team wraps up its season-opening homestand with a two-match series with Central Arkansas on Sept. 10 and 11 at Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center. First serve for both matches is set for 7 p.m.
The Rainbow Wahine enter the week with a three-match winning streak after claiming the OUTRIGGER Invitational title. UH swept Utah Tech then pulled out five-set victories over Loyola Marymount and UC San Diego to improve to 4-2 in Joshua Walker's first season as head coach.

'BOWS NOTES
- UH outside hitter Panna Ratkai collected two awards following the OUTRIGGER Invitational. The senior was named the tournament's MVP on Sunday and earned Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week honors on Monday.
- Ratkai led the Rainbow Wahine with 52 kills and five aces to help power UH's 3-0 run in the tournament. The senior hit .284 while averaging a team-high 4.00 kills and 4.65 points per set over the week.
- Middle blocker Miliana Sylvester earned All-Tournament honors for the second time this season. The junior leads the Mountain West with 30 blocks (1.20 blocks per set).
- As a team, UH leads the conference with 54.5 total blocks and ranks second with 2.18 per set.
- UH's 18.5 blocks against UC San Diego marked the program's highest total since posting 20 against Long Beach State on Oct. 11, 2015.
- Setter Adrianna Arquette ranks third in the MW with 8.92 assists per set and was voted to the OUTRIGGER Invitational All-Tournament team. The junior has tied her career high with 17 digs twice this season.
- Freshman middle blocker Rachel Purser turned in an efficient performance in the OUTRIGGER Invitational with 23 kills and just two errors and a .477 hitting percentage. Purser is hitting a team-best .322 through two weeks.
- In her return from an injury-shortened 2025 season, outside hitter Tali Hakas ranks second on the team with 57 total kills and is third with 2.12 kills per set.
- Libero Victoria Leyva continues to anchor UH's floor defense and tied her career high with 29 digs against LMU, the highest single-match total in the Mountain West this season.
THE MATCHUP
Central Arkansas Sugar Bears
Series Record: First meeting
- The Rainbow Wahine and Sugar Bears meet for the first time in this week's matchups.
- Central Arkansas is playing all 10 of its nonconference matches on the road before starting United Athletic Conference play.
- The Sugar Bears are off to an 0-5 start following trips to Boulder, Colo., and Oxford, Miss.
- Head coach John Newberry is in his seventh season and has a career record of 81-86.
- Middle blocker McKinzee Haas leads UCA with 36 total kills (2.40 per set) on .305 hitting and 15 blocks.
- UCA went 18-12 last season and 12-4 in Atlantic Sun play. The Sugar Bears captured the ASUN Tournament championship to earn an NCAA Tournament berth.
- UCA is in its first season in the United Athletic Conference and was voted second in the conference's preseason poll.
