HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team will hold an intrasquad scrimmage Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium in Hilo, Hawai'i. The scrimmage begins at 5:00 p.m. and will follow the UH-Hilo women's volleyball match against Chaminade at 2:00 p.m.

As part of the trip to Hawai'i Island, the team will also take part in a meet-and-greet, photo op session at Big Island Candies at 10:00 a.m., which is free and open to the public.
 
The team returns 14 members from last season's squad which advanced to the NCAA Championship semifinal round and captured their fourth Big West Championship. Among the returnees include All-Americans Tread Rosenthal, Adrien Roure, and Kristian Titriyski. Head coach Charlie Wade enters his 17^th season and last year became the program's all-time winningest coach.
 
During its fall practice, UH will also travel to San Diego for a pair of matches against UC San Diego, Thursday, Nov. 6 and Friday, Nov. 7.
