HONOLULU —The University of Hawai'i men's and women's swimming and diving teams will open their 2025-26 season hosting their first Alumni Week under head coach and UH alum
Steve Allnutt. The weekend begins with their annual Green/White Meet on Friday, Sept. 26 at 5:00 p.m. HT. The Rainbow Wahine and Warriors will follow by reviving their first Alumni Meet on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 10:00 a.m. HT. Both events will be held at the Duke Kahanamoku Aqualics Complex.
Over 30 alumni will be involved in this weekend's festivities. On Friday, they will be a part of the teams' Green/White Meet and on Saturday, the alumni will compete against members of the current team. Former head coach Victor Wales was the last to host an Alumni Meet in 2016.

The Rainbow Wahine return 14 letterwinners from last year's squad which finished third in the 2024-25 Big West Championships in Houston, Texas. Leading UH into the 2025-26 season is senior
Holly Nelson who earned All-Big West honors in the 50 Free, 100 Free, 200 medley relay, 200 free relay, 400 medley relay and 400 free relay last year. Nelson holds Top 10 marks in program history in the 100 Free, 50 Free, and 100 Fly.
Diver
Macie Wheeler returns for her sophomore campaign after earning 2025 Big West Diver of the Year and Freshman Diver of the Year awards. She became the first Rainbow Wahine to sweep the conference championship since 2016 winning the 1-meter, 3-meter and platform events. The 'Bows welcome in 11 new Rainbow Wahine
—including nine freshmen and two transfers.
Nineteen Rainbow Warriors return for the 2025-26 season after finishing second in last year's Big West Championships.
Karol Ostrowski leads the Rainbow Warriors swim team into the the new season. Ostrowski has been a standout for the 'Bows throughout his UH career. The speedster has set program records in the 50 Free, 100 Free, and 200 Free. Last year at the Big West Championships, he captured five gold medals in the 50 Free, 100 free, 200 medley relay, 200 free relay and 400 free relay. Ostrowski was the lone Hawai'i swimmer to compete in the 2025 NCAA Championships as well as the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore this past summer.
The men's diving team is being led by the 2025 Big West Diver of the Year/Freshman Diver of the Year,
Juan Esteban Ramirez Tamayo. Last year as a rookie, Tamayo won the 1-meter and platform events at the 2025 Big West Championships. He accumulated the fourth-highest score in program history en route to earning the BW Championship platform gold. The 'Bows welcome in nine newcomers into the fold this year--including five transfers and four incoming freshmen.
