HONOLULU – The Hawai'i women's track and field team will get its postseason underway Friday and Saturday with the Big West Multis Championships in Long Beach, Calif.
Grace Blanchette and
Catherine Touchette will compete for the Rainbow Wahine to open up the Big West Championships, with the action beginning at 9:30 a.m. HT on Friday.

Touchette has turned in a career year so far in 2025, posting four new program top 10 marks between the indoor and outdoor seasons. She sits fourth in UH history in the 800m and 400m hurdles outdoors and is fourth in the 800m and 10th in the long jump indoors. Touchette also came in third at the MPSF Indoor Championships in the pentathlon with 3,812 points, good for the third-best mark in UH history.
Blanchette also posted a PR in the indoor pentathlon at the MPSF Championships earlier this year, totaling 3,133 points after setting personal bests in the high jump and the shot put.
Following this weekend's heptathlon, the full Hawai'i squad will be in action in Long Beach for the remainder of the Big West Championships May 16 and 17.
