HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team will wear exclusive "Black Tapa" jerseys during Saturday's Senior Night match against Long Beach State. The jerseys will be auctioned which will support the Athletics Department.
The virtual auction, accessible through
hawaiiathletics.com/mvbjerseyauction, will run Thursday, April 10 through Monday, April 13 (concludes at 5:00 p.m.).
Fans can participate in this unique opportunity to own game-used jerseys while contributing toward a worthy cause. Registration for the auction is free and all proceeds will directly benefit student-athletes across various sports programs.
The "Black Tapa" jersey features a tapa design with Hawai'i emblazoned on the front. The team wore similar white versions of the jersey earlier this season. That auction raised $12,000 for the Athletics Department.
In addition, other jersey auctions were held for men's and women's basketball and women's volleyball.
