SAN DIEGO, Calif.--The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team (4-16, 1-5) enters the 2025 Big West Championships as the No. 6 seed. The Rainbow Warriors will take on No. 3 seed UC Davis (13-6, 4-2 Big West) on Friday, April 25th in the quarterfinals at 6:00 a.m. HT at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif.

LAST MEETING: Last month, the Rainbow Warrriors fell to the Aggies in the Golden State Invitational on March 7, 4-1. UH's lone win came from
Quinn Snyder who won His #2 singles match over Lucas Bollinger in a tough, three-set win, 3-6, 7-5, 6-4.
• Senior
Quinn Snyder enters the tournament with a perfect 12-0 record. Since returning to action in mid-January, Snyder started with a win at No. 4 before winning one match vs. HPU at No. 1 and the next 10-straight playing at No. 2. Three of his last four matches have gone unfinished.
• 97th-ranked
Azuma Visaya most recently snapped his seven-match losing streak with a straight set win at No. 1 over UC Riverside's Justin Lamy, 6-2, 6-2 in UH's regular season finale. Visaya, a junior, enters this week with a 7-10 record overall and a 1-3 mark in conference.
• Senior
Karl Collins also enters this week with seven singles wins under his belt. Last week, he helped UH defeat UCR with a straight set win over Lucas Suarez on the No. 3 court, 6-2, 6-2.
• In doubles, UH's current No.1 duo of
Quinn Snyder and
Azuma Visaya have won their last three-straight matches together. Overall, they are 3-2 in dual matches.
UC DAVIS AGGIES (13-6, 4-2 Big West)
• The Aggies have won 11 of their last 13 matches but fell in their season finale at UC Irvine 4-2 on the road.
• Lucas Bollinger leads UCD with a 14-4 record, primarily playing at No. 2 where he has earned a 12-4 record. He also played a pair of match going 2-0 at No. 1. He has won six of his last eight matches
• Kaveh Taheri is second on the team with a 9-5 overall record primarily playing on the No. 3 court, going 5-1 in conference action. Currently, he is on a four-match win streak and has won nine of his last 10 decisions.
• Sam De Vries has an 8-4 overall record primarily playing at the No. 5 court where his is 6-3.
• In doubles, UCD's duo of Ivan Savkin and Ryan Torres lead the team with an 11-5 record. The pair has split matches between playing at No. 1, where they are 5-4 and No. 2 where they are 6-1.
• UCD's Taheri and Bollinger are 8-7 coming into the tournament
