HONOLULU--The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team (4-16, 1-5 Big West) swept UC Riverside, 4-0 on Senior Day at the UC Tennis Complex. The Rainbow Warriors snapped its nine-match losing streak in its final regular season match of the season at the UH Tennis Complex on Tuesday afternoon.
The Rainbow Warriors secured the doubles point with wins on the No. 1 and 3 courts to take an early, 1-0 lead. On the No. 1 court, UH's

Azuma Visaya tood down UC Riverside's Justin Lamy and Ryan Huynh, 6-2, while at No. 3 the 'Bows'
Diego Dalisay and
Sohta Urano defeated the Highlanders' Alexey Efremocv and Lucas Mszyca, 6-2.
In singles, the Warriors worked quickly to record the team's first sweep since last year's 7-0 win at Ventura College on Feb. 21, 2024. It was UH's first sweep over a DI team since defeating UC Riverside, 4-0 in Honolulu on March 28, 2023.
Hawai'i's No. 4 Dalisay dominated in his 6-2, 6-1 win over Lucas Mszyca to start the singles matches. It marked Dalisay's second-straight singles win. On the No. 3 court,
Karl Collins followed with a straight set victory over Lucas Suarez, 6-2, 6-2. UH's 98th-ranked Visaya clinched the match with a 6-2, 6-2 win over UCR's Lamy. The win snapped a seven-match losing streak for Visaya.
The Rainbow Warriors will have a few days to prepare for the 2025 Big West Championships from Friday, April 25 - Sunday, April 27. The conference tournament will be held at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif.
