SAN PEDRO, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i coed sailing team traveled to Southern California this weekend, securing a second-place finish in the prestigious Port of Los Angeles Harbor Cup held in San Pedro, Calif.
Competing against a field of nine other schools, the Rainbow sailors' put together a stellar performance with its best finish since winning the Harbor Cup two years ago.
Looking to bounce back after a sixth-place finish last year, the 'Bows represented well in 10 total races, finishing first in three and ending the event with 43 total points. USC was crowned the champion of this three-day event with 36 points.
