FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — University of Hawai'i men's swimmer
Karol Ostrowski set a new UH record in the 100 freestyle at Saturday's NCAA Championships prelims at the
Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Wash.
Ostrowski finished second in Heat #3 of the 100 free, clocking in with a school record time of 42.31. He surpassed his previous record-setting mark of 42.43, which he achieved last season at the Georgia Last Chance Meet (3/3/25). Ostrowski placed 36th among 65 contestants competing in the preliminary rounds.
The senior finished with the second-fastest time among swimmers from a school outside of a Power Four conference, only behind Remi Fabiani of California Baptist.
