HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team's "White Tapa" jerseys, which they will wear Friday, Feb. 28 against UC Irvine, will be auctioned to support the Athletics Department.
The virtual auction, accessible through
https://hawaiiathletics.com/mvbjerseyauction, will run Thursday, Feb. 27 through Monday, March 3 (concludes at 5:00 p.m.).
Fans can participate in this unique opportunity to own game-used jerseys while contributing toward a worthy cause. Registration for the auction is free and all proceeds will directly benefit student-athletes across various sports programs.
The "White Tapa" jersey features a tapa design with Hawai'i emblazoned on the front. The team also wore the jerseys for its Feb. 7 match against Stanford.
Similar jersey auctions for men's and women's basketball and women's volleyball raised tens of thousands of dollars for UH Athletics.
