HONOLULU — The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team embarks on its first road trip of the season to open its final campaign in the Big West with the conference's "Bold Week." The Rainbow Wahine head to Northern California to face UC Davis on Thursday, Dec. 4 then travel south to take on Cal State Fullerton on Saturday, Dec. 6.
UH completed a seven-game homestand to open the season at 4-3 and begins defense of the Big West regular-season crown this week. After winning their first four games, the new-look 'Bows dropped three games against veteran opponents in last week's American Savings Bank Rainbow Wahine Showdown.
The Big West introduced Bold Week last year to add early-season intrigue to the conference season and allowing for a consistent Thursday-Saturday schedule format in Big West play.
