SALT LAKE CITY, Utah–The University of Hawai'i men's and women's swimming and diving teams wrap up 2025 with a dual meet against Utah on Monday Dec. 22 at the Ute Natatorium in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Junior swimmer
Zofia Tyminska helped the Rainbow Wahine finish second place at the SMU Invitational a month ago. She finished in second place with a total of 754.5 points at the nine-team meet in Dallas, Texas. Tyminska won three individual golds, capturing the 100 breast, 200 breast and the 200 individual medley. Her three winning times catapulted her to No. 3 in the UH record books in all three events. Tyminska also helped the 'Bows capture four relay medals in the meet. The Rainbow Wahine finished second place in the 200 medley relay with Tyminska swimming the breaststroke with a split time of 27.39. She swam the anchor leg in the 200 free relay with a split time of 22.47 to claim the bronze. UH also took home third in the 400 free relay with Tyminska swimming the second leg (49.27) and the UH women wrapped things up finishing third in the 400 medley relay with Tyminska once again swimming the breast leg (1:00.36).
Sophomore
Finn Brophy w
as the Rainbow Warriors' top point-getter in swimming at the SMU Invitational, amassing 724.0 total points. Individually, on the final day of the four-day meet, Brophy set a new UH record in the 100 free, finishing in second with a time of 42.26. He improved his personal best by over a full second while posting the fastest time in the Big West thus far this year. In relay action, Brophy anchored a pair of bronze medal winning teams in the 200 free and 400 free with splits of 19.17 and 42.60 respectively.
In men's diving, sophomore Juan Esteban Ramirez Tamayo captured silver on the platform (353.55 pts), bronze in the 1-meter springboard event (338.00 pts) and finished fourth in the 3-meter event (333.15 pts). On the women's side, Macie Wheeler finished the SMU Invitational as the Rainbow Wahine's top female diver. She placed second in the 1-meter (280.65 pts), third in the platform (201.25 pts) and fourth in the 3-meter event (307.80 pts). Ramirez Tamayo, Lovisa Gustavsson and Wheeler are the only three Hawai'i divers who have qualified for all three events in the NCAA Zone Championships
