HONOLULU – The Hawai'i women's cross country team continues postseason action at the NCAA West Regional Friday morning in Sacramento, Calif.
The Rainbow Wahine will compete in the 6k meet hosted by Sacramento State at the Haggin Oaks Golf Course. The race is set to start at 7 a.m. HT.
UH is coming off of ninth place finish at the Big West Championships on Oct. 31 at Kapi'olani Park. Led by
Emilie Kirk Langschwager and
Zola O'Donnell, the team finished the meet with 224 points.
Kirk Langschwager placed 25th with a 6k time of 22:16.2, while
Zola O'Donnell finished close behind in 28th with a time of 22:25.3.
Lucy Becker finished 41st with a mark of 22:45.2,
Kira Moe came in 74th with a mark of 24:04.9, and
Reece Trice placed 77th in 24:21.5.
This was UH's final time competing as members of the Big West, as they are set to move to the Mountain West starting next season.
