HONOLULU – In partnership with Spectrum Sports and the Mountain West, the University of Hawai'i Athletics Department has announced three upcoming Rainbow Warrior football games will be live streamed in Japan on Rakuten's R Channel.
The three upcoming games are Saturday's contest at Colorado State, the Nov. 8 game against San Diego State, and Nov. 29 game versus Wyoming. All of the games will be live streamed on R Channel, which is a free streaming service in Japan, as well as on GAORA On Demand and GAORA ZERO on R Channel.
In addition, four past UH games this season – Sam Houston, Portland State, Fresno State, and Utah State – are available on GAORA On Demand and GAORA ZERO on R Channel.

Kansei Matsuzawa is a Tokyo, Japan native who is having a record-breaking senior season. He is 19-for-19 on the year in field goal attempts and has already broken both UH and Mountain West records for consecutive field goals to start a season. Dating back to last season, Matsuzawa has converted 20 straight field goals, which is tied for the longest in school history. He is also on the verge of breaking the program's all-time mark for most field goals in a single-season.
Matsuzawa's journey to UH is one of the best stories in college football. He learned to kick from watching YouTube videos and learned to speak English from his junior college teammates at Hocking College in Ohio. At the conclusion of last season, he received a scholarship and has since earned the nickname "Tokyo Toe."
