— The University of Hawai'i men's basketball team hits the halfway mark of the Big West regular season with a home matchup against UC San Diego on Thursday, Jan 30 . Tipoff is slated for 7:00 p.m. at the SimpliFi Arena at the Stan Sheriff Center.
After two straight road losses, the Rainbow Warriors (12-8, 4-5 Big West) look to get back on track and keep pace in a tight Big West race. UH will face a Triton squad (17-4, 7-2) who lead the conference in scoring defense (62.4) and are second in scoring offense (80.0), while currently sitting a game out of first place in the league standings.

GAME STORY LINES
- After two straight road losses, UH looks to get back on track with a home game vs. UC San Diego.
- The 'Bows are currently in a tie for seventh in the Big West standings with CSU Bakersfield. UCSD is a game behind UC Irvine for first place.
- UH has won seven of eight all-time meetings between the teams and all five in Honolulu.
