HONOLULU – Half of the University of Hawai'i football schedule will be shown nationally this season, including a rare appearance on network television.
 
UH's home game against UCLA, Aug. 31, will air on CBS with a 1:30 p.m. HT kick time. It marks the program's first appearance on network television since 2012 (at USC on FOX) and first home game on network television since 2005 (vs. Fresno State on ABC).
 
Three other games will be picked up by CBS Sports Network as part of the Mountain West's television package – Oct. 5 at San Diego State (2:00 p.m. HT), Oct. 12 vs. Boise State (5:00 p.m. HT), and Nov. 9 vs. UNLV (4:00 p.m. HT).
 
In addition, UH's road game at Washington State, Oct. 19, will be broadcast on The CW while its Sept. 14 road game at Sam Houston will be streamed on ESPN+.
 
This season marks the fifth year of the Mountain West's six-year television contract with CBS Sports and FOX Sports. The Old Trapper Mountain West Football Championship Game will be nationally televised on FOX, Friday, Dec. 6.
 
Additional broadcasts by Spectrum Sports will be announced in the coming weeks.

• The UCLA game marks UH's ninth all-time appearance on network television (5-ABC, 2-CBS, 2-FOX) and just the second on CBS (Oct. 1, 1983 vs. San Diego State)
• Six of the eight previous network television appearances were home games
• The 1:30 p.m. kick time for the UCLA game marks the earliest home kick time (non-COVID) since 2005, when the USC and Fresno State games kicked off at 1:00 p.m.
• UH will play three home national TV games for the third time since 2019
• The Washington State game will mark UH's first-ever appearance on The CW Network
• UH and Boise State will play on national TV for the eighth consecutive time dating back to 2010
• UH has a current 10-game losing streak on national TV dating back to 2021
