IRVINE, Calif.--The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team (5-14, 0-5 Big West) dropped their match at UC Irvine on Saturday, 4-1. The Rainbow Warriors got off to a strong start, winning the doubles point. But UCI then reeled off the first four singles wins to clinch the match at the Anteater Tennis Stadium.

UC Irvine's No. 1 team of Rahul Dhokia and Noah Zamora opened the match with a 6-2 win over UH's Karl Collins and Andy Hernandez. Hawai'i's No. 2 duo of Quinn Snyder and Andrew Somerville evened things up with a 6-2 win over UCI's Andy Nguyen and Hiroki Sakagawa. UH's No. 3 pair, Diego Dalisay and Guillaume Tattevin held off Brandon Park and Matthew Sah by a break, 6-4 to take the doubles point and the early 1-0 lead.

The Anteaters then swept the No.'s 2, 3, and 5 matches to take a 3-1 lead. UCI's Enrque Luque Rico defeated UH's Snyder on the No.1 court in three sets, 6-4, 0-6, 6-1 to clinch the match. 

The Rainbow Warriors will conclude their regular season schedule at UC Riverside on Sunday, April 21 at 9:00 a.m. HT at the SRC Tennis Courts.
