The No. 11 University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine beach volleyball team will compete for the first time in the state of Texas when it travels to Fort Worth for the TCU Invitational, April 5-6. The BeachBows will face Houston Christian (7-18), Texas (5-5) and host and No. 5 TCU (19-5) during the two-day tournament. 

The Rainbow Wahine (14-9) enjoyed a bye last weekend after a 12-match road trip that took UH through both Southern and Northern California. The BeachBows went 8-4 on the trip, including a 5-1 showing at the Big West Challenge that saw UH take down No. 7 Long Beach State. 

UH now heads back out on the road for its first trip ever to the state of Texas and its first regular-season road trip west of the Rockies since traveling to South Carolina during the 2018 season. 
 
Following the TCU Invitational, the Rainbow Wahine will return to the island to play their final home matches of the season during Senior Weekend, April 13-14, at the Clarence T.C. Ching Complex.

 All-Time Series Records: The 'Bows are 2-0 against Texas…both of the wins came last year with the Longhorns competing in their inaugural season…UH will play Houston Christian for the first-time ever…UH and TCU have met seven previous times with the first meeting coming in 2015…this will be the first time they face off in Fort Worth…UH leads the series 5-2…the 'Bows won the first five meetings, while TCU has won the two most recent meetings, coming in 2022. 
 
'Bow Bits: UH has used 13 different pairing combinations this year…the No. 1 pair of Jaime Santer-Alana Embry and the duo of Sydney Amiatu and Riley Wagoner, who have played primarily at court 4, are the only pairs to appear in all 23 matches together…Amiatu and Wagoner have won nine of their last 11 matches with the losses coming at No. 1 USC and to No. 9 Cal Poly…Anna Maidment and Sydney Miller have been the winningest pair in the lineup going 13-5 (.722) overall, including 13-4 (.765) at the No. 5 flight…Kaylee Glagau's younger sister Emma is a freshman on TCU….she is 8-2 while playing at the No. 4 and 5 flights.  

Climbing the Charts: Kaylee Glagau is currently tied for third with Ka'iwi Schucht in all-time dual match wins with 94…she is just six wins away from becoming just the third Rainbow Wahine to hit 100 dual match wins for her career…fellow senior Jaime Santer, who has notched 15 wins thus far this year, now has 76 career dual match wins to crack the top 10 all-time at UH.

Versus Ranked Squads: UH is 100-90 (.526) all-time versus ranked squads, including 3-9 this season…all nine losses came against Top 10 squads and UH will face another (twice) this week in No. 5 TCU…UH is 9-14 against ranked squads as the visiting squad. 

Versus Unranked Squads: UH is 142-4 (.973) all-time vs. unranked squads, including 11-0 this year…the 'Bows are 61-2 all-time against unranked teams at neutral sites.
