HONOLULU – The Hawai'i women's track and field team continues its outdoor season with a trip to the Bryan Clay Invitational, Thursday through Saturday in Azusa, Calif.
The action gets underway with the first four events of the heptathlon Thursday, followed by distance events, the discus and hammer throw and the conclusion of the heptathlon Friday. The remainder of the field events and all the sprint events will be contested on Saturday.

The Rainbow Wahine head into this weekend's meet with four Big West-leading marks and four additional marks in the top three of the conference.
Sammie Gordon leads the conference in the 400m hurdles with a time of 59.81 and is the only athlete in the conference with a sub-1:00 time in the event.
Tara Wyllie is first in the conference in the triple jump at 12.77m (41-10.75) while
Hallee Mohr paces the Big West in the discus with a mark of 52.08m (170-10) and is the only one in the league with a throw of over 50m. The UH 4x400m relay team of
Amy Warrington,
Alyssa Mae Antolin,
Sammie Gordon and
Isabella Kneeshaw is also first in the conference in that event with a time of 3:41.39.
Additionally, the Rainbow Wahine have added 14 new top 10 marks to the outdoor top 10 list in the first two meets of the season, highlighted by the school-record setting 4x100m relay squad of
Kristin Cook,
Amy Warrington,
Alyssa Mae Antolin and
Isabella Kneeshaw. The relay team broke a nearly 40-year old school record with a time of 45.64, topping the previous mark set on Apr. 21, 1985 by Diane Kawahara, Runa Engle, Angela Williams and Gwen Gardner.
Following this weekend's action at Azusa Pacific, Hawai'i will head to the Pacific Northwest for the OSU High Performance Meet in Corvallis, Ore., Apr. 26-27.
