HONOLULU – After enjoying a bye week the No. 12 University of Hawai'i beach volleyball team returns to competition with the Heineken Queen's Cup, March 7-9, at Queen's Beach. Joining the No. 12 BeachBows are Boise State, Chaminade, Nebraska, Pepperdine, Saint Mary's. The team's will play a round-robin format all-day Thursday and Friday  before wrapping up with championship bracket play on Saturday.

Playing for the first time in nearly two weeks, the BeachBows (0-5) will be seeking their first victory of the season after opening the year with setbacks versus four of the top five teams in the nation.

All-Time Series Records: Chaminade will be making its first-ever appearance in the Queen's Cup competes in its first collegiate season….UH is a perfect 15-0 against Nebraska with all but one of the wins coming in Honolulu…the 'Bows are 6-0 all-time against Boise State, taking all but one meeting against the Broncos via sweep....UH is 7-0 against Saint Mary's, with all but one match being at home...UH is 3-12 against Pepperdine…the 'Bows are 2-2 against the Waves in Honolulu…this will be the first meeting between the teams since 2019.
 
Versus Unranked Squads: UH is 131-4 (.970) all-time vs unranked squads, including 57-1 at home…the lone home loss came last year when the BeachBows fell to Cal Poly in the semifinals of the Big West Championship…..UH enjoyed 105 straight wins against unranked opponents between 2013 and 2022.
