ALL-TIME SERIES RECORDUC Davis leads 15-12
Last meeting — UC Davis 57-47 (Feb. 2, 2023, Honolulu)

TIPOFF

• UH's four-game winning streak matches its longest of the season.

• UH is 10-2 in Big West play for the second time in head coach Laura Beeman's 12-year tenure and the first time since the 2014-15 season.

• UC Davis leads the all-time series 15-12 and the teams split last year's regular-season series with both winning on the road. UH pulled out a 70-62 win in its last visit to UCD's University Credit Union Center on Dec. 29, 2022.

• UH guard Lily Wahinekapu led the Rainbow Wahine with 16 points against UC San Diego and has scored in double figures in 10 of the last 11 games. She leads the 'Bows with 10.8 points per game overall and 12.4 in Big West play.

• Guard Daejah Phillips, the reigning Big West Player of the Week, had 11 points and eight rebounds at UCSD and averages 9.8 points off the bench. The UCSD game was her 10th game in double digits this season and her driving shot late in the fourth quarter was the 300th field goal of her college career.

• UC Davis leads the Big West in team field-goal percentage at 43%. UH tops the conference in field-goal percentage defense at 36.3%.

• UH and UC Davis have combined to capture the last four Big West Championship titles. UC Davis won in 2029 and '21 and UH claimed the last two.

DEFENDING THE CROWN

• UH enters the game second in the conference and 22nd nationally in scoring defense in allowing 55.8 points per game overall.

• UH opponents are shooting 36.3% on field-goal attempts overall, the lowest mark in the Big West and 23rd in NCAA Division I.

• UH has held opponents to 25.3% shooting on 3-point attempts, which ranks first in the conference and eighth among 348 Division I teams.

'BEEMAN'S BIG BASH' SET FOR FEB. 17

The Rainbow Wahine will take aim at the largest attendance figure of head coach Laura Beeman's 12-year tenure when the Rainbow Wahine host "Beeman's Big Bash" on Feb. 17 at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.

The 2014-15 Rainbow Wahine played their home finale before a Senior Night crowd of 4,340 on March 7, 2015 in Beeman's third year leading the program. This season's Rainbow Wahine squad will look to surpass that mark when they face UC Santa Barbara in a rematch of the 2023 Big West Championship game.
