HONOLULU — The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team begins defense of its Big West regular-season title this Saturday, Dec. 7 with its conference opener versus Long Beach State. Tipoff is 7 p.m. at the SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.
It's the earliest conference start ever for UH and the Big West as part of "Bold Week" from Dec. 5-7. The early start adds early season intrigue in December while eliminating three-game weeks. The revised schedule also allows for a consistent Thursday/Saturday format for the entirety of Big West action. The Rainbow Wahine have gone 5-2 so far in non-conference play, including 4-1 at home. This will be the sixth of seven straight home games for the 'Bows.
