SANTA BARBARA, Calif.—The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team concludes the UC Santa Barbara Fall Classic on Sunday at the Arnhold Tennis Center.
In the main draw's Flight A doubles championship match, UH's
Quinn Snyder and
Azuma Visaya fell short to UCSB's Gianluca Brunkow and Gustav Theilgaard, 8-3.
In consolation doubles matches, the Flight B third place match was won by LMU's Jacapo Denitto and Sascha Nothdurft who held off UH's
Karl Collins and
Andy Hernandez by a break, 7-5. And in Flight C, Hawai'i's
Diego Dalisay and
Sohta Urano came up just short, falling in a tie-breaker to UC San Diego's David Adamson and Carson Lee, 7-6 (6).
Due to their travel schedule, the Rainbow Warriors were unable to compete in the conosolation singles matches on Sunday.
Next up, the Rainbow Warriors will host their Hawai'i Fall Invitational from Oct.11-13 at the UH Tennis Complex.
