UH is coming off a solid regular season finale placing seventh at the Bronco Invitational.  Three 'Bows placed in the top 40 led by freshman Lucy Milliner, who came in ninth with a time of 20:49.9, Emilie Kirk Langschwager followed close behind in 11th with a mark of 20:52.7, while Sariah Hernandez came in 35th with a time of 21:26.7.

Hawai'i has finished in the top ten in all four of its meets this season, the best finish being the season-opening Big Wave Invitational where the 'Bows took each of the top five sports in the 5k race to pose a perfect score of 15 points. At the UCR Invitational Milliner, Langschwager, and Hernandez each posted top-five marks in program history, moving into the No. 2-4 spots all-time at UH. Zola O'Donnell and Kira Moe have also been scorers for the 'Bows in three of the four meets this season.

After two weeks of gearing up for the Big West Championships the Rainbow Wahine will head to Riverside to compete on a fairly familiar course as they ran on the same course as part of the UCR Invitational on Sept. 21. Cal Poly led the way for the Big West placing second with 123 points, with a team time of 1:42:41, while UH finished eighth overall with 278 points.

Following the Big West Championships, the 'Bows will turn their attention to the NCAA West Regional, set for Nov. 15 in Colfax, Wash.
