A number of UH's 13 newcomers have made an impact early on, led by Langschwager who has finished runner-up in each of her first two collegiate meets. Another true freshman, Duran, took home the individual title in the season opener at the Big Wave Invitational before coming in eighth at the Mountain Regional Preview while fellow freshman Zanon won the Chaminade Invitational.
Two more true freshmen, Crossley and O'Donnell, have both been among the top four Rainbow Wahine finishers in their first two collegiate meets. Crossley came in fourth in the season opener right behind O'Donnell in third while Crossley placed ninth at the Mountain Regional Preview followed by O'Donnell in 18th.
Following the Charles Bowles Invitational, the Rainbow Wahine will return to Hawai'i for the HPU Invitational set for Oct. 7 at Kahuku Golf Course.
