HONOLULU – The Hawai'i women's cross country team will look to build on their strong start when split the squad to compete at the Chaminade Invitational on Saturday at Kapi'olani Park, and the Mountain Regional Preview Monday in Reno, Nev.
A group of seven Rainbow Wahine will run in the 5k Chaminade Invitational beginning Saturday at 7:15 a.m. in Kapi'olani Park while eight others compete in the 6k 24 Regional Preview on Monday at 5:45 a.m. HT.

UH is coming off of a dominant opening meet at the Big Wave Invitational on Sept. 2. The 'Bows swept the meet, claiming the top seven spots to finish with a perfect score of 15 points. Freshman
Jessica Duran earned the win in her first collegiate meet with a time of 18:46.10 while fellow true freshman
Emilie Kirk Langschwager finished runner-up in 18:51.10.
Zola O'Donnell led the next wave of Rainbow Wahine, finishing in third with a time of 19:19.00 in her first collegiate race. Another true freshman,
Abby Crossley, came in fourth in 19:25.30 while sophomore
Keilah Wilkes rounded out the top five with a time of 19:26.00.
