• The Rainbow Wahine went 1-1-1 on their season-opening homestand and are coming off of a 3-1 win over Sacramento State on Aug. 24. Mia Foster scored her third goal of the season in the first half and Brynn Mitchell sealed the win in the 65th minute with her first collegiate goal.
• Foster scored on her second penalty kick of the season and is tied with Amber Gilbert for the team lead with three goals this season. The junior midfielder is tied for second in the Big West with 10 shots and is tied for third with seven shots on goal.
• UH's first road trip of the season will take five members of the Rainbow Wahine roster back to their home states. UH opens the trip at Air Force in Colorado Springs and the 'Bows have four players from Colorado — sophomore defenders Eve Bleam (Boulder, Boulder High School) and Zoe Park (Aurora, Grandview HS), sophomore forward Cate Sheahan (Highlands Ranch, Rock Canyon HS) and freshman defender Riley Simpson (Fort Collins, Rocky Mountain HS).
