Box Score SANTA BARBARA, Calif.—The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team (9-8, 2-3 Big West) fell to 38^th-ranked UC Santa Barbara on Friday afternoon at the Arnhold Tennis Center. The Gauchos swept Hawai'i, 4-0 in UH's penultimate regular season match on Sunday at Cal Poly.
 
UCSB started by securing the doubles point. UH's No. 2 duo of Axel Labrunie and Kilian Maitre dropped their first match of the season to fall to 10-1 overall falling to UCSB's Luka Mrsic and Conrad Brown, 6-1. On the No. 3 court, Hawai'i's Karl Collins and Vjota Vklovsky fell by a break in a closely contested match to Pablo Masjuan and Brunkow, 7-5. UH's No. 1 pair of Andre Ilagan and Lucas Labrunie was on the brink of winning their match vs. 68^th-ranked Phillip Jordan and Kai Brady but the No. 1 match went unfinished ending with UH leading 5-3.
 
In singles, the Gauchos clinched by quickly winning in straight sets on courts 5, 2, and 4. UH's No. 3 Axel Labrunie had just battled back to win the first set against Mrsic in a tie-breaker and No. 1 Ilagan won his first set but was in a second-set battle with Masjuan at the time the match ended.
 
 
The Rainbow Warriors will conclude their regular season this Sunday, April 16 at Cal Poly. First serve is slated for 10:00 A.M. HT at the Mustang Tennis Complex.
