COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Twenty University of Hawai'i football student-athletes were named to the Mountain West academic all-conference team including four-year honorees
Kamuela Borden and
Noa Kamana
Third-year honorees include
Jonah Kahahawai-Welch,
Kalamaku Kuewa,
Tamatoa Mokiao-Atimalala,
Fo'i Shaw, and
Eliki Tanuvasa while second-year honorees are
Ben Falck,
Kyler Halvorsen,
Caleb Phillips, and
Logan Taylor.
To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and competed in 50 percent of the teams completed varsity contests. Some latitude was permitted to accommodate injured student-athletes.
