FULLERTON, Calif.— For the second time this season, the University of Hawai'i women's basketball team completed a weekend road sweep over Big West opponents with a 60-54 victory over Cal State Fullerton Saturday evening at Titan Gym.
The Rainbow Wahine (11-12, 9-5) took care of business on Thursday by knocking off UC San Diego and pulled off a season sweep against CSF after taking the first game on January 7
th at home. The Titans (10-13, 5-9) have now dropped six in a row to UH.
UH and CSF played close through the first half, but a run in the second quarter by the 'Bows began to create separation. With the score tied at 22-22 and 5:17 on the clock, UH pieced together an 11-4 run led by sophomore center
Nnenna Orji as she tallied six of her 10 points in the stretch for a 33-26 lead going into the half.
The Titans rallied in the third quarter to pull within one at 36-35, but UH answered by building the lead back to seven to end the quarter at 49-42. The 'Bows kept the Titans at bay the rest of the way for the eventual final.

Daejah Phillips led all scorers with 18 points and six rebounds. Sophomore guard
Lily Wahinekapu contributed 10 points, notching her ninth consecutive game of 10 points or more, and added a team-high seven rebounds.
UH dominated from the bench with a 30-2 advantage and found continuous success from the paint area with 34 points.
The 'Bows take their win streak back to the island of O'ahu with a two-game set against rival Long Beach State and CSU Bakersfield beginning on Saturday, February 18
th.
