HONOLULU – The Hawai'i baseball team will host its third annual For The Love of The Game Celebration on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.
 
The event, which helps kick off the new baseball season, gives fans a chance to interact with Rainbow Warrior baseball student-athletes and coaches and will feature live and silent auctions in addition to food and drink from popular local restaurants.
 
Additionally, a pair of Hawai'i natives and current MLB staff members will serve as guest speakers. Kansas City Royals hitting coach Keoni DeRenne and 2023 World Series champion and Texas Rangers coach Brendan Sagara will take part in a Q&A session during the celebration.
 
Tickets for the celebration are on sale now here. Fans can purchase tables of 10 for $2,000 or individual tickets for $125. An option to purchase a table of 10, plus a skybox for a home game during Big West play is also available for $5,000.
 
The Rainbow Warriors open their 53-game 2024 season at home with a four-game series against 2022 College World Series champion Ole Miss, Feb. 16-18 at Les Murakami Stadium.
