The Rainbow Wahine will send a squad of eight to compete for the conference title in a 6k race at the Blacklake Golf Resort.
Hawai'i has finished in the top four in five of its six meets this season, winning three team titles while three different individuals have taken the top spot in a meet. The Rainbow Wahine have won all three meets it has competed in on O'ahu, winning the season-opening Big Wave Invitational, the Chaminade Invitational and the HPU Invitational. A trio of freshmen,
Jessica Duran,
Alexandra Zanon and
Emilie Kirk Langschwager have all taken home individual titles.
Additionally, a pair of Rainbow Wahine have added their names to the program's top 10 lists with Kirk Langschwager running the fourth-fastest 5k time in school history with a 17:27.00 at the Charles Bowles Invitational, while
Keilah Wilkes moved into 10th all-time on the UH 6k list with a 21:32.90 at the Bronco Invitational.
A number of newcomers have made big impacts all season for the Rainbow Wahine. Kirk Langschwager and Duran have been UH's top two finishers in all four meets they have competed in while two more true freshmen,
Zola O'Donnell and
Abby Crossley, have placed in the Hawai'i top five in all four of their meets. Graduate transfer
Tania Tan has been a scorer for the 'Bows in three of her four meets.
