HONOLULU — The University of Hawaii women's soccer team returns to Waipi'o Peninsula Soccer Stadium for the final homestand of the regular season, taking on UC Santa Barbara on Thursday at 7:05 p.m. and Cal Poly on Sunday at 4 p.m.
Six Rainbow Wahine players — Mia Foster, Maya Gonzalez, Chaima Khammar, Brynn Mitchell, Nohara Takayama and Fabiola Zamora — will be honored in the annual Senior Night ceremony following the match with Cal Poly on Sunday.

• The Rainbow Wahine had a bye week after splitting a road trip with a 2-0 win at CSU Bakersfield on Oct. 5 and a 3-2 loss at UC Davis on Oct. 8. They had an 11-day break between games before returning to the pitch against UC Santa Barbara on Thursday.
• Coming off the bye, Hawai'i enters the week fifth place in the Big West standings with 10 points. Cal Poly jumped into the lead with 16 points, followed by Cal State Fullerton (15) and UC Davis and Long Beach State (11 points each). UC Santa Barbara is tied for eighth with nine points. The top six qualify for the Big West Championship.
• The last two meetings between UH and UC Santa Barbara in 2021 and '22 ended in scoreless draws. UH's last win against the Gauchos came on Oct. 12, 2017 (2-1).
• Cal Poly earned a 2-2 draw last season, scoring on a free kick with 16 seconds left. UH's lone win against Cal Poly came on Oct. 19, 2018 (4-0).
• UH's 22 goals through 12 games this season marks the highest total since the 'Bows scored 30 in 17 games in 2018.
• A total of 16 Rainbow Wahine players have at least one point this season. Nine have scored and another seven have assists.
• UH forward Amber Gilbert continues to lead UH with six goals this season and has 10 for her career. She's tied for third in the Big West in goals this season and her average of .500 per match is tied for second in the conference. Her average of 1.00 points per match (12 total) is tied for fourth.
• Sophomore forward Cate Sheahan enters the week leading the team and is tied for third in the Big West with four assists. Her average of .333 assists per game is also third in the conference.
• Junior forward/midfielder Brynn Mitchell has contributed four goals and an assist in her first season at UH. She posted five points during UH's most recent road trip with a goal and an assist in a 2-0 win at CSU Bakersfield and another goal in a 3-2 loss at UC Davis.
