HONOLULU—The USTFCCC announced its yearly awards and named the University of Hawai'i cross country squad on Thursday's list of All-Academic teams.
The Rainbow Wahine roster consisted of eight student-athletes, including
Ellis Collins, Ania Magdesain,
Carlin McFadden, Caelen Miller,
Sophia Morgan,
Sam North,
Terra Stevens, and
Keilah Wilkes. The team combined for a GPA of 3.52, just shy of last year's squad of 3.57.
Overall, 249 different programs were named All-Academic Teams for their efforts during the 2022 season. No team posted a better cumulative GPA than Georgia State University for the second year in a row.
To qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
