ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The University of Hawai'i men's golf team finished in a tie for 14
th place after the final round of the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate Saturday at the UNM Championship Course.
UH's top finisher was freshman
Josh Hayashida, who tied for 10
th individually at 3-under 213, in his first collegiate event.
San Diego State captured the team title at 848 ahead of host New Mexico (856) while Denver's Carson Griggs took home medalist honors at 11-under 205, one stroke ahead of UNLV's Caden Fioroni, the Day 1 leader.

Remington Hirano shot the low round of the day for the Rainbow Warriors at 2-over 74 and finished in a tie for 41
st at 221.

UH will next compete in the Bill Cullum Invitational, Oct. 10-11 in Valencia, Calif.
