HONOLULU – Saturday's University of Hawai'i football season opener against Vanderbilt at the Clarence T.C. Ching Complex is officially sold out.
The sellout marks the first at the new temporary home of the Rainbow Warriors, which began hosting UH football games last season. The capacity at Ching Complex is 9,346.
Hawai'i's last home sellout occurred December 1, 2007 against Washington at Aloha Stadium, when the recorded attendance was 50,000.
Tickets for next week's home game against Western Kentucky are still available including a special four-ticket Family Pack. Tickets may be purchased at
www.etickethawaii.com or at the SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center Box Office (Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.).
Saturday's season opener is scheduled for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff and will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.
