HONOLULU--The 73rd-ranked University of Hawai'i women's tennis team (7-3, 4-0 Big West) notched its fourth-straight sweep with a 5-0 victory over UC Davis (9-7, 4-4 BWC) on Friday afternoon. The two teams waited out a seven hour rain delay at the UH Tennis Complex before finally getting to start the match with singles at 5:00 p.m. The win extends the Rainbow Wahine's win streak to six while remaining undefeated in Big West action at 4-0.

Hawai'i's No. 1 Léa Romain led the match off with a quick 6-3, 6-1 win over UC Davis' Sara Tsukamoto. Both Tal Talya Zandberg and Gitte Heynemans then followed by recorded both their eighth-straight win.  Zandberg defeated Daisy Maunupau, 6-2, 6-2 on the No. 4 court. Zandberg has now won 14-consecutive sets. UH's No. 6 Heynemans held off UCD's Michelle Zell in the first set then cruised in the second for a 7-5, 6-2 win. Heynemans her set win streak to 10. 

On the No. 2 court, UH's Satsuki Takamura clinched the match with a 7-5, 6-2 win over Yana Gurevich. Before the rain returned, UH's No. 3 Ana Vilcek notcheda 7-5, 6-3 victory over Adrianna Stavropoulos. No. 5, Madison Kim's match vs. Kristina Evloeva went unfinished due to the inclement weather.

The Rainbow Wahine have a quick turnaournd as they conclude their month-long home stand with a conference match against UC Riverside (3-9, 8-7 BWC) on Saturday, March 26 at 11:00 a.m.
