The University of Hawai'i football team is coming home and preparation to play on campus is underway at the Clarence T.C. Ching Complex. Leading up to kickoff over the Rainbow Warriors' new home, UH will be conducting a six-part mini-series documenting the construction and progress, as well as what fans can expect when they attend their first home game. Hosted by Kayleen Fukushima and Cheyenne Sibley, the series will feature special guests while hitting on key factors fans want to know about the upcoming 2021 season. 

It's all about the new turf on episode one, as senior running back Calvin Turner Jr. gives his thoughts on the new playing surface. Produced by AstroTurf Corp., the field sits inside a newly renovated track at the Clarence T.C. Ching Complex, which will be used as a dual facility for the time being. The turf is two-toned and has the patent "H" logo set at midfield, with the iconic tapa font spelling out Hawai'i in each endzone. As soon as fans walk into the newly renovated facility, they'll be taken back by its beauty, while student-athletes will take notice of its softness. The new turf will be the center point for the next three years as countless highlights will be recorded on the resilient surface.
