HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i women's tennis match against Washington Sunday at the UH Tennis Complex was canceled due to inclement weather. There are no plans for the dual match to be rescheduled.
 
Constant rain fell throughout the day, forcing the match to be pushed back from its 11:00 a.m. start time. The teams were able to warm up in the afternoon however heavy showers forced another delay. At that point, the coaches decided to call the match.
 
The Rainbow Wahine (1-2) are next scheduled travel to southern California for a pair of Big West Conference matches against Cal State Fullerton, March 19 and Long Beach State, March 21.
