HONOLULU - The University of Hawai'i cross country team will gear up going into their last meet of the season, the NCAA Division I West Regional, on Friday, in Sacramento, Calif.

Hosted by Sacramento State and the Sacramento Sports Commission, the championships will begin with the women's 6k at 10 a.m. PST at the Haggin Oaks Golf Course. Representing UH will be freshmen Becca Bodine and Sam North, juniors Ellis Collins and Sophia Morgan, and senior Olivia Hill.

"These five were our top competitors at the Big West Championships." said UH head coach Tim Boyce. "We look forward to lining up against the top teams in the West Region, which often includes some of the best teams in the nation."

The Rainbow Wahine last competed in the NCAA Division I West Regional in 2019, where the team took thirtieth overall.
