SACRAMENTO, CALIF.—The University of Hawai'i cross country team wrapped up its season on Friday morning with the NCAA Division I West Regional at the Haggins Oak Golf Course hosted by Sacramento State and the Sacramento Sports Commission. 
 
The Rainbow Wahine placed 34th overall with a team time of 1:57:27 and an average time of 23:30 in the 6k event. Senior 
Olivia Hill led the 'Bows with a finishing time of 22:45.8, improving from her last appearance in the event back in 2019, previously recording a time of 23:41.0.
 
Following the pace of Hill was junior Sophie Morgan with a time of 23:00.37, and rounding out the top three finishers for UH was freshman Samantha North at 23:20.6.
 
Stanford took home the West Regional Championship with a total time of 1:40:59, a full second ahead of second-place contender Washington. Individually Julia Heymach of Stanford set the pace for the field, crossing the finish line at 20:01.1.

Tim Boyce and crew will now set their sights on the start of the indoor track season, slated to begin for UH in late January.
