The Rainbow Warriors return 10 lettermen from the 2021 team, which captured the program's first NCAA title. Among the returnees include starting AVCA All-America honorable mention setter

Chaz Galloway, and All-Big West Freshman Team outside hitter
Spyros Chakas along with starting middle blocker
Guilherme Voss.
UH finished the regular season with a perfect 15-0 record and defeated UC Santa Barbara and BYU in the NCAA Championship tournament in Columbus, Ohio.
