HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team will temporarily pause team-related activities following a COVID-19 positive test within the program. As a result, this week's two-game series with UC Riverside, scheduled for January 8-9 at SimliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center, is canceled. 
 
UH's next scheduled series is January 15-16 against Cal State Bakersfield in Bakersfield, Calif. The Rainbow Wahine also had their Big West Conference series opener against Cal Poly canceled due to COVID-related issues with one of Cal Poly's opponents.
