Game Notes
• UH recently ended a four-game losing skid with a 75-58 win over Cal Poly on the final day of the regular season. Senior guard Julissa Tago led the offense with 19 points, giving her four straight games of scoring double figures.

• CSF enters Wednesday's matchup after convincing win against CSUN, 67-52 on Tuesday evening. The Titans' offense exploded in the second half, outscoring the Matadors 38-26. Taylor Turney led the way with 26 points and all of the starting five for CSF played 30 minutes or more in the victory.

• UH and CSF last faced off on Feb. 29 in Fullerton, Calif. Turney paced the attack for the Titans with 23 points, to upend the visiting Rainbow Wahine, 70-64. Tago scored a game-high 26 points but was the only UH player to score double-digits.

• Earlier in the season, UH took a game from the Titans, 79-72, at the Stan Sheriff Center on Jan. 18. Raina Perez scored 34 points in the loss for CSF, while senior guard Courtney Middap showcased her best game of the season with 24 points.

• The last time UH and CSF faced off in the Big West Tournament was in 2015. Head coach Laura Beeman led the No. 1 seeded 'Bows to a 73-64 victory in the semifinals of the tournament.

• In the 19 years UH has been a part of the BWC (two stints), the Bows are 14-17 overall and have won the championship twice, 2016, and 1996.

• Since 1984 when the Big West added women's basketball, CSF has never won a conference tournament championship. The Titans made it to the championship game once, back in 1991, falling to Long Beach State, 71-60.

TIME TO END THE DROUGHT
UH put an end to an 18-year drought of not making the NCAA tournament by winning the 2016 Big West Conference Tournament championship, 78-59 over No. 1 UC Davis. Since then, UH has gone 2-3 in BWC tournament play and has not won a championship. UH made the championship game last season, but fell to UC Davis 58-50.

ADDING SOME HARDWARE
The conference office appointed four UH student-athletes with seasonal honors on Mar. 9. Senior guard Julissa Tago was named to the All-Conference First Team, while junior forward Amy Atwell was named Best Sixth Player and an Honorable Mention. Junior guard Jadynn Alexander was appointed to the All-Defensive Team, and guard Nae Nae Calhoun was named to the All-Freshmen squad.
