th Amer Ari Intercollegiate Thursday at Waikoloa Resorts Kings Course.
As a team, the Rainbow Warriors are tied for 12
th place with San Jose State at 2-under 286. Second-ranked Georgia Tech and 19
th-ranked Texas are tied for the lead at 14-under 274. No. 10 Arizona State is one stroke back.
Arcano and Murata each posted five birdies and one bogey on their rounds and are tied for 10
th. Junior

Trevor Hirata each carded 3-over 75 while junior
Justin Ngan shot 83.
Four Warriors competed as individuals led by senior
Nick Nelson's 4-over 76. Freshman
Kanata Irei carded 6-over 78 while sophomore
AJ Teraoka is one stroke behind him at 79. Junior
Matt Lloyd carded 86.
Individually, Georgia Tech's Tyler Strafaci holds a one-stroke lead at 8-over 64 while Texas' Cole Hammer and Oklahoma State's Aman Gupta are one stroke back at 65.
Round 2 is scheduled for a 7:30 a.m., shotgun start Friday at the Kings Course.
