COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Twenty-two University of Hawai'i football student-athletes were recognized by the Mountain West as academic all-conference.
 
Among those recognized was four-year honorees Kaimana Padello and Ben Scruton. Several others were two-time recipients – Khoury Bethley, Stan Gaudion, Hekili Keliiliki, Ilm Manning, Makai Manuwai, Kana'i Picanco, and Taaga Tuulima.
 
To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
 
The UH contingent was among nearly 700 student-athletes honored by the Mountain West for its fall sports.
